40 Years "Brothers in Arms" Arena Tour
After numerous sold-out concerts, it was time for The Dire Straits Experience to go big. They will do so on November 13 and 15 with two arena concerts: one at ING Arena Brussels (November 13) and one in the city where the Belgian adventure began—Ostend (November 15).
The renowned band, led by former Dire Straits saxophonist Chris White, is delivering a special tribute to the legendary Brothers in Arms world tour from 1985—exactly 40 years later.
Wherever they go in the world, The Dire Straits Experience fills venues in no time. This band wins over all fans, even the most critical ones. And in doing so, the legendary music of Dire Straits lives on!
With frontman Terence Reis—whose voice strikingly resembles that of Mark Knopfler—and five other talented musicians, the band perfectly reproduces the authentic Dire Straits sound.
For the enormous host of loyal fans, it felt like the end of the world when Dire Straits stopped performing in 1995. But thanks to those same passionate fans, the music of the wildly popular rock band is more alive than ever before. The Dire Straits Experience manages to revive the unparalleled musical class of Dire Straits in an extremely authentic way. For instance, Chris White believes that band member Terence Reis is the only one who can match the vocal and instrumental qualities of former Straits frontman Mark Knopfler. The bar is set high. Nevertheless, the new formation is a rock-solid collection of musical talent.
