An unfiltered evening with Formula 1’s rawest voice

Guenther Steiner returns to the stage with his biggest tour so far. He is bringing Unfiltered Live to Amsterdam and Brussels Expo for an uncensored evening full of anecdotes, humour and candid insights from a decade in Formula 1. Starring in the Netflix hit series ‘Drive to Survive’, Steiner quickly became a fan favourite thanks to his bluntness, sarcastic flair and unfiltered language.

From rally roads to race circuits

The evening is hosted by James Hogg, Steiner’s regular writer and travel companion on this tour. Together they steer the audience through his early years in motorsport - from the development of the Ford Focus Rally Car in Oxford to managing legendary racing drivers like Carlos Sainz Sr and Colin McRae. He made the switch to F1 thanks to Niki Lauda, who recruited him to join Jaguar. What follows is a career full of unlikely twists and turns.

The formation of Haas F1 Team

In the early 2010s, Steiner set up a completely new F1 team with the support of Gene Haas. He talks about the race against time to obtain a licence, the obstacles in building a competitive car on a fraction of the budget of the major teams, and earning points in their 2016 debut – an achievement that stunned many.

Setbacks and controversy

The show doesn’t shy away from uncomfortable topics. Steiner speaks openly about budget issues, driver drama, the impact of the pandemic and severing ties with the Russian backers following the invasion of Ukraine. He also talks about the tragic 2020 accident of Romain Grosjean, with an emotional tribute to the F1 doctor who was there and saved lives.

More than motorsport

In addition to his F1 career Steiner also shares stories from his personal life, including his unexpected cameo in the new Formula 1 flick starring Brad Pitt, his love-hate relationship with the media – and the fact that he himself hasn’t watched a single episode of ‘Drive to Survive’. All of it comes with the sharp wit, bold charm and brutal honesty he’s become famous for.

Candid. Raw. Hilarious.

‘Unfiltered Live’ offers a rare chance to hear from one of the most outspoken personalities in modern F1, up close. No polished PR stories but the raw, captivating reality of a decade of racing on the front lines.
